You can be dependable without being depleted.

You’ve learned how to show up, carry the weight, get things done, and be the person everyone can count on. But what if being faithful, successful, loving, and dependable never required you to lose yourself in the process?

Somewhere along the way, carrying became living.

You get your job done. Make sure everybody is taken care of. Have a running list of everything that needs to be done. Say ‘yes’ because “it’s easier if I just do it myself”. Every problem is solved before anyone gets the chance to ask.

But when it comes to you… the rest, care, and time. It’s like, “What’s that luxury?”

The voice that says “you can and should do more” is LOUD.

You might call it responsibility. Faithfulness. Being a good partner, parent, friend, Christian, leader, employee — insert your role here.

But when did being “good” start requiring you to disappear?

A life where you can be:

Dependable and have boundaries.

Ambitious and rested.

Generous without abandoning yourself.

Faithful without carrying what God never asked you to carry.

What if there’s another way to live?

A life where your worth isn’t something you have to prove through everything you do.

You don’t have to become less caring, driven, or capable. You need to learn what is actually yours to carry.

Healthy fruit doesn’t come from trying harder. It comes from healthy roots.

Renewal begins at the roots.

How you think about yourself.

How you form relationships.

How you dwell spiritually.

Fruit:

My work combines clinical wisdom and biblical truth to help you understand what's beneath the patterns you've learned, discern what still serves you, and practice a different way of living—one rooted in who God created you to be.

Hey! I’m Ayana, and yes, I’ve been a master carrier, overdoer, and worth prover too!

I’m a faith-based therapist, educator, speaker — and also, a woman who knows firsthand what it’s like to confuse carrying everything with doing life well.

My clinical training taught me how to help people heal. My faith taught me where to put down roots. And my own personal journey taught me something I know have the privilege of helping other women discover:

You can put some things down and still be everything God created you to be.

I don’t believe therapy or faith should ask you to abandon pieces of yourself. Around here, we make space for the whole woman — your story, faith, emotions, relationships, ambition, questions, wounds, gifts, personality, and everything else you’re still figuring out.

Sunset over a beach with waves gently crashing onto the sand, purple and pink clouds in the sky, and trees silhouetted in the distance.

How would you like to begin?

You don’t have to earn the “soft life”.

Maybe you’ve spent years believing “this is just how life is”. That if you carry everything, do what’s expected of you, you’ll one day earn the reward of “being enough”.

I want to show you what happens when you stop asking,

“How can I carry everything better?”

and start asking,

“How do I faithfully steward what’s mine to carry?”

There’s more life on the other side of that question. Let’s find it.
